Description:

The Esko Historical Society Museum is located in downtown Esko, consisting of seven buildings: Ths Kangas Log Farm House built in 1898; the first one room School House in Esko, built in 1897; the Grist Mill orginally on the Midway River at Palkki Rapids, built in 1878; a "Savu Sauna: (smoke sauna); the "Riihi" (granary) from the John Sorila farm, built in 1885; a building containing horse drawn buggies, a horse drawn school bus and many other farm machinery and tools items; and a building for viewing the 1938 Township D-8 Cat. Snowplow.
Many historic items, photo's, books, etc are on display in the buildings.
