The Museums of Minnesota Web site is a growing collection of information and resources on the museums and places of historical interest in our beautiful state of Minnesota. The primary purpose of this Web site is to act as an information database for our upcoming television series called, (believe it or not) “Museums of Minnesota”.

Filming will start in 2009 and we hope to produce the series for broadcast on public television in the fall of 2010.The goal of the series and indeed this Web site is to bring much needed and deserved focus to the thousands if not millions of hidden gems that we have underneath our very own noses.

Off the beaten track, if you look, you will find Minnesota is rich not only in resources but also historical places and museums. Hidden jewels that together tell a tale that is as unique and as captivating as the stories they hold individually. Bringing focus to these almost forgotten treasures will help preserve them for generations to come.

We therefore invite curators and owners of private museums to submit information regarding their site and exhibits / facilities using the form below. A selection of those museums submitted to the MOM directory will be used as the foundation to our television series. So, please be sure to provide as much information as you can - it may very well be included in our production.
